I assume you've been to at least one of those countries, right skeptic? If so, you know that socialism isn't really what's the driver of their happiness.
Besides, if you can explain how we could scale-up the nordic model, so that it would work in this country, then I'm all ears. I've only been to two of these countries, but I can guarantee you one thing; the main difference is that their govts don't spend money like drunken sailors on shore leave, unlike our govt. Give our govt as much money, per capita, and watch them blow right through it faster than a coronavirus stimulus package.
One giant problem in implementing this is that ALL healthcare workers, would by definition have to become govt employees, with caps on their income. A cap on income is about as un-American as it gets, and probably wouldn't go over too well, with healthcare workers, or most other workers.
