Actually.... it has happened. When people get in a panic or in a total hysteria they do things that are not the smartest thing to do, and yes they can endanger themselves or others in doing so, and yes it wouldn't be the first time the consequences where lethal.

Yeah!...... nothing to worry about!..... states are enacting "social distancing" measures, grocery stores are running out of food, elderly people are dying in long term care facilities and the local government is trying to keep it quiet, hospital wards are being quarantined, there's not enough testing equipment to go around, there's a shortage of health care professionals to handle a potential emergency...... yeah! nothing to worry about!

SARS-CoV-2 is the name of the virus, Covid-19 is the disease it causes, like HIV is the virus that causes AIDS. So yeah, it really is SARS 2.0. It's actually worse than that because it mutated in China so 70% of people have a new, improved version of SARS-CoV-2 that's more infectious.

I got the joke and chuckled when I first read it, so there was no whoosh sound in my case. It'll still likely to influence stupid people in the direction of minimizing the seriousness of it which raises r0, so I left a comment so I could feel like I was saving the world anyway. :-P
