There isn't a walmart in my town. I'd say the nearest one is about 20 miles from here. This part of the country is known for agriculture, but there is also quite a bit of manufacturing. Of course, Amazon didn't get any cash incentives to build a facility in my state - because there are plenty of incentives courting businesses here. I can understand why they would want something in return for choosing a shithole.

This is exactly what had happened especially in Brooklyn under King Bloomie's reign (I'm surprised the other candidates aren't bringing it up), disrupting and premanently altering enighborhoods that struggled and surbived through the bad ol' days of the 60s - mid 80s when they were left to those who couldn't afford to move out to the burbs.

The Manhattan location is ALREADY built, hence the taxpayer footed temp jobs in construction projected in Queens would be unnecesary.
