I’ll just hit the high points this time:
—The Nazi Party was not “Democratic” by any stretch, let’s get that out of the way. They never won an outright majority in any election but instead consolidated power through fear, intimidation, and constitutional erosion
—Hitler was rabidly anti-communist from the beginning
—Regarded the USSR as Germany’s greatest long-term threat and fought way harder on the Eastern front than anywhere else
—Regarded Britain as a natural ally due to shared Anglo-Saxon heritage, but was just temporarily deluded by its political class into opposing Germany
—Declared war on the U.S. after Pearl Harbor just to honor its treaty with Japan
—Obsessed with topics like nationhood, race (esp. anti-Semitism), borders, glory, purity, women as baby-makers, and conquest, all of which are hallmarks of the radical right
Finally: Neo-Nazis today are universally recognized as right-wingers.
Nazism is best summed up as a virulent form of fascism plain and simple
