—No straws or big gulps! How the hell do they survive!
—Turnstile jumping happens pretty much everywhere there’s a Metro system, I’m afraid
—High taxes? Guilty as charged, but it doesn’t throttle the economy (see: NYC skyline) and many people don’t mind paying them
—Residents leaving... and transplants arriving, like any other city on earth. (For the first time ever in 2018, NYC’s population dipped ever so slightly. They’ll still be fine.)
—Criminal/illegal alien stuff: Again, the criminal justice system has its problems everywhere and illegal aliens live everywhere
—AOC LOL
Honestly, I wouldn’t choose to live in New York myself (too crowded), and it has its problems of course, but it is obviously doing alright in a broad sense
The ironic thing is that you are posting scenes of homelessness and poverty, which results from high income inequality, which shows only that Democratic policies to address poverty haven’t gone far enough.
I could post pictures of dirt-poor Republicans in West Virginia or wherever, but it‘s not that important.
Anyone can cherry-pick evidence to tell any sort of story they want, but it’s pretty clear Democrats do not run things into the ground
