As someone who is from coal country I have a dog in this fight. Change comes slowly where I’m from. Most guys who mine coal can say that their dad and their grandpa and probably their great grandpa also mined coal. It chews men up and spits them out but it’s a way of life. Like Hillary’s comment, if this is true it shows a complete disconnect from, and disregard for, an entire region full of voters. If you want them to learn how to code, give them an incentive to do so. Give them another way to make a living while they learn a new skill, don’t just take away everything they have ever known and leave them with nothing.
