I actually voted for Palin over McCain. I had zero confidence in the man. He was nothing more than a puppet the GOP was trying to shove down our throats. Regardless, you are wrong. Palin was America's sweetheart. Well, CIVILIZED America, anyway. You ask me, she should have run and Romney be her running mate. She would have won hands down.

The reason McCain lost is because McCain was a warmongering shit. Even a large part of the republican party didn't like him. I voted Obama over McCain simply because I didn't believe Obama was going to be as hawkish and having someone like McCain as POTUS sounded like a disaster waiting to happen.
