He's smart enough to know that it's the electoral college that determines who wins the presidency (unlike HRC who apparently thought winning CA and NY was enough!) and that being impeached does not mean you're removed from office. Well, personally I do it to anyone if I find ridicule in them. So yes that is similar to Trump but for example I would say Drunken Nancy, Geriatric Nancy or Crazy Nancy.
As to the Mayor I recall her ranting and frothing at the mouth and she did this even when at the time of the event the supplies had been clearly sent promptly.
This present find of supplies just substantiated what was already known about her and of course prompted my comment. However, She was the one spewing the negative words to begin with so yeah.
Maybe TDS needs further refinement as Affirmative TDS and conversely Antagonistic TDS, if the left wants to use the same Acronym because it's purportedly on both sides.
We are clearly beset on all sides with people who attach negative characteristics to people they dislike. It cannot be said that it is a one sided affair.

Ok, stellar, but adequate or not, the point here is relief that was actually sent got the typical treatment by a government "south of the border"......hoarded and held hostage. And while I am not a fan of the Cheeto, he has a point when he refuses to send stuff cause he and the rest of us know this shit will happen, always does!

the most important thing is to solve the problem and help the people. that's his first responsibility. if he needs to eliminate the corruption, he should do that too, but the people need help.

It's Puerto Rico...Eliminating the corruption isn't something done with a pen. He pointed it out and held on to future aid. That's how you do it. They have a government that controls their own ports and what comes into them so just how are we supposed to bypass their own laws without drawing criticism from the world?

PR is a US territory, not a separate country. they're subject to basically the same federal laws as any state in the union. i'd say, if you're worried about criticisms from the world, that if we don't do anything about the corruption and suppose that PR will fix it because of limited financial pressure, the world will know that PR runs things, not the fed govt. of course the fed govt, being corrupt itself, probably doesnt see state/territory corruption as a real problem.
