Anyway what are your thoughts on our healthcare system? I went to Canada once with my folks an one of us got real sick.. walked in to a hospital there and got checked and helped out an I think they even gave us free aspirin. None of us were Canadian and we were confused there was literally no bill.. 😝

I find your politics interesting. So easy to make memes about it all. America has the best healthcare in the world, but it's also the most expensive. There is a corporate system in place that has been built to extract as much as it can out of the insurance plans. The system up here is ok for the most part. No one gets super rich out of healthcare here. Doctors do ok. Everyone gets basic coverage.

Well if you make right-leaning memes you are sure to get plenty of likes... making lefty memes that actually get likes here is a bit more challenging.

The concept of becoming financially ruined in my senior years because of hospital bills is kind of terrifying to me. I mean I wonder how often people actually weigh not having necessary surgery and simply dying at home vs facing hospital bills here.. I personally know someone who wasn't even middle aged but didn't have any insurance, went to a hospital, needed surgery, recovered to find they were looking at a quarter million dollar hospital bill.
