America enjoyed the greatest expansion in the middle class and middle class wealth during the very periods when we also had a high progressive tax rate and those at the top paid the most. It's actually, the American way. What we're doing today has no examples found in American history, making it liberal philosophy. The very definition of liberal being, doing something never tried before with no proven outcome.

Do something you've never done before. Give your paychecks to those that don't earn a paycheck.
