Hey, you may not like Eminem's music/rap style, that's perfectly fine, as everyone has different tastes, but you can't deny his skill at writing well-crafted lyrics.

While his lyrics are indeed more... eminem-tly suited for the rap scene, his /skill/ is on a par with some of the greatest lyricists, song-crafters, and poets in history.

William Blake, Robert Burns, Lennon/McCartney, and Eminem. LOL
That's cool, everyone is welcome to an opinion :)

Again, as I said, the actual lyrics he uses may not put him up there, but I'm talking about the /skill/ with which he puts them together. You should try listening to some of his deeper songs, like Lose Yourself, or Cleaning Out My Closet.

I actually have. My youngest is a huge fan, and has got me to listen to his stuff. And love my kid as much as I do, must say I am just not impressed. :(

But you gotta admit, Eminenema can rhyme like no rhyming dictionary ca- wait, what? They have those things? Surely he's never heard of one because he's so ghetto hard down wid it, yo.
