This Veteran's Day children went to school. People went to work. Those children and people had to honor them in other ways. Starting with not acting like an asshat for not having a day off at the Veteran's expense...

I noticed that, too; We were in the middle of a job where I was and were called to attention out of the blue.

There was a voice over at the hospital I work at asking us to pause as we remembered those that served, and just to add emphasis we were reminded “Some returned, some did not.” While no one spoke, we didn’t stop entirely, more like pausing every few seconds, while trying to work in silence.

Why would we be

Cuz "we're" liberals. That's what liberals do. Can't trigger conservatives, or they put a cap in yo ass. Yeah, liberals can't be veterans. Liberals can't have parents, siblings, or children in the military.

This continued stupidity among try-hard "conservatives" is only amusing to children.

Yeah, I believe in things many would consider "liberal," doesn't mean I support veterans any less

To be fair, /some/ liberals are triggered by this kind of thing, an example being Cornworld down below, using that current favorite liberal insult "Ok boomer". As well as others using arguments that take a few more brain cells like "they're nothing but tools of a corrupt government killing innocent people in countries they shouldn't even be in."

I don't think "ok boomer" is exclusively liberal, and it's not about politics(most of the time), it's for when someone starts spewing all the "phone bad, book good" garbage :)

This is probably the first, and most sincere, meme with the aim of showing respect to those lost in the World Wars...

That's why I had to post the template and added the text. It's a real good way to portray respect to those who served.

Hey im 16 and im joining the Navy the second i get out of highschool, i found this picture and almost cried, it really shows how the men and woman of our country fought and died for us. All my life all i wanted to do was have a meaning in life, a purpose, so i am going to join the Navy, but now i can truly grasp the deep meaning of fighting for my country. Thank you so much
