Amusing.
You're using the excuse that Biden's chances of being nominated, despite his well-received poll numbers at the time, somehow absolves Trump of trying to use a foreign leader to directly interfere in the election. Very clever. Though, your poor use of an ad hominem directed at me is a nice deflection but also irrelevant.
It was well documented before the so-called confession that Biden used his political pull to dismiss the Ukraine prosecutor. Though, he was not acting in personal interest, he was there at the request of the United States government as it was a bipartisan effort to pull that prosecutor for mutual interest across aisle of both Republicans and Democrats. Donald Trump failed to consider it criminal until Biden's poll numbers began to rise. So what exactly changed between 2016 and 2019 that prompted Trump to do this? Surely he wasn't stupid enough to think that the "confession" was somehow not public knowledge already?
I wouldn't sink so low as to insult you, however. Not unless you find facts insulting. Perhaps Trump would've found himself in less hot water if he had more experience in the political realm. Say what you will of Biden and the left. It offends me none at all.
