So very true. Imagine what would happen if the first amendment was infringed with a patchwork of laws and regulations that varied depending on where you happen to be standing at any point in time.

Robert Francis said that he doesn’t want our ARs and AKs to be used against people anymore. Mine never have been used against people. The problem with his plan lies in a couple of facts:

1. The government cannot confiscate property from citizens unless they have committed a crime. Yes, there’s always Imminent Domain and a few other things but generally speaking this is true.

2. In confiscating said property from citizens who have not committed a crime the government is essentially accusing them of committing a crime that has not been committed yet. The whole innocent until proven guilty thing goes out the window and Due Process will become a thing of the past.

3. I didn’t buy my ARs from the government so they can’t buy them back from me.

Let that sink in.
