Knives, hammers, bombs and arson are used pretty effectively in countries where guns are not available. Evil people are everywhere. In Dayton the police were patrolling the area and arrived 35 - 40 seconds after the shooting began and the evil person was stopped by a "horrors" gun.
That's true that other weapons are used when guns are not available, but because guns are so effective at killing people, it's not just gun deaths that are much higher in the US, but overall murder rates are higher.
It's far easier to murder a human with one quart of DHMO than a firearm, not to mention far easier to obtain. DHMO will never require a background check to obtain.
How, pray tell?
By taking the personal property of a hundred million law abiding citizens?
By making more laws that place the onus on law abiding citizens, while not affecting criminals?
