Ummm... the police made no note of it, because he never mentioned it to the police when he reported the crime. Don't know about anyone else, but I'm thinking Jussie Smollett in reverse.

This story where I got it from made no mention of it. It did say this in addition to NYP:
"Following the attack, he crossed the street, called the cops and filed a police report.
When authorities arrived the group was still making anti-Trump remarks but attending officers took no notice, Turan stated."

Ah... thanks for that... and explains your meme a little better, So now I'm thinking your right, and the NYC cops have Bill DeBlasio syndrome... that kind that makes them do nothing when water is dumped on them. NYC has gone to the dark side ever since DeBlasio became mayor.

I was going to post a screenshot of a page of various stories on NYC tv & papers regarding it, but couldn't get over the Daily Mail bit, plus whatever I posted would be diismissed as fake news.

Basically the same story, although there was one or two questioning details such as whether it was a crowd of 15 strangers or rather an acquaintance, and whether he had the hat on, and that the police were investigating those aspects as well.

Personally I had not caught the story, and I watch TimeWarner's NY1 and Cablevision's News 12 often enough. I might have missed it, and 12 is mainly local (Bronx) coverage anyways.

Doesn't realy matter where the video came from, the video is the video, be it on vice, fox or youtube. Video don't lie. Guy stops truck, gets out, punches old dude, cops rush in and bust his ass, off he goes, cop gets in his truck and moves it. How in the mother lovin god should that otherwise be interpritated?

Just because you happen to agree with a source does not magically make them credible. After all, a stopped clock is still right twice per day, but that doesn't make it an accurate time-keeping device.
