I do not use the site from my phone a lot, but I will browse from my phone. It is irritating that we can no longer filter out gifs. The SOLE REASON being that it goofs up my browsing. If there is a gif on the page my phone automatically switches to full screen on the gif and I have to be very quick about filtering to a stream where there are no gifs. This is a huge pain in the neck! I don't see why the filtering option for this was removed!

Please bring back the option to filter out the gifs!

I look at few gifs. They take longer and are often pointless to me.

I look at some. Just not on my phone. They do a hostile takeover and it's annoying to try and browse. It doesn't happen on the laptop though. I don't min so much there.

That's not good if they are going full screen. What type of device and browser are you using?

GIFs on imgflip are generally always displayed as looping video instead of .gif images, which reduces filesize by 10X and actually makes them about as big as a meme image, so they should load just about as fast.

I am using a Blackberry Classic. The browser is what ever came on the phone. So just the Blackberry browser I guess? This does not happen on my laptop. Only on my phone. I had a brand new Blackberry not long ago and it did the same thing on that phone as well.

The gifs load just fine, a little too fine actually. They are never slow. It's just a matter of getting the screen to stop defaulting to full screen on a gif long enough to get to something else.

Blackberries are still a thing? I did not know this.

You would be surprised. I don't care for the newest ones though. They removed my favorite features from the phone.

Yep. That's been there for as long as I have been active here. It should just be at the top of the page there.

I think that is only effective when you are flipping through random. It does not work on the streams. Just realized where you had those settings.

Who knows why they removed it 🤷‍♂️ I do remember being able to filter them out before now.

Been fighting a cold...you know how that goes. Its run thru my whole family now. I could stand to lose a few pounds myself, but then I think a lot of us could! My wife and I use advocare, the products are really good, and they work, but like all supplements it really boils down to portion control and staying away from bad food, go figure!

My daughter has a cold. It's going around I think.

People around town in "the south" are getting allergies around this time, as well.
