I dont know. Both have scandals and stuff, but I feel like a lot of voters who vote for Trump, it is more cultural than even policy based. These are the same voters who support for Medicare and social security and less defense spending, which is what Trump said he would do and is not a Republican thing.

The truth is that Democratic policies should appeal more to the working class, but in the Rust Belt a cultural divide is why they voter for Trump. Many of these are formerly Democratic union voters.
