Is "stank" really a noun in English? (I wonder since it is in my native language Dutch, and it does mean "stench").

"stank" is the smell of marijuana, it's slang👍🏻

Typical that I from a country were they tolerate that stuff (it's unlike popular belief not "legal") didn't know that. Of course, I think it stinks and since "stank" means "stench" in Dutch, it captures my feelings perfectly :P
(We just call it "wietlucht" which translates literally to "weed air" or "weed smell").
