if only the poors knew that they are better off working for less than they need to survive!!

Question - should middle class Americans refuse raises, or does this automation of jobs only apply to the poorest segments of society whose wages have stagnated and failed to keep up with the cost of living?

It only applies to the poorest because that bottom line is a factor that determines the value of our currency. Raising the bottom line devalues the currency. Throwing more money into an economy only causes inflation, not wealth.

It does't though.

Middle Class jobs can be automated with modern ERPs, and automation as well.

All this meme is - is a justification to lower pay on fellow Americans to the point that their wages can never keep up with the cost of living - made by people who live with mommy and daddy most likely..

So basically you are just trying to "Help" poor people by getting them paid even less money.

Got it, thanks.

Could you not help and f**k the f**k off?

Let's give everyone a million dollar starting wage. Then everyone can be a millionaire.

Hopefully you understand how that would ruin the economy through inflation. Inflation adjusts regardless of the base wage increase being 1 million dollars or 1 dollar.

Increasing minimum wage accomplishes nothing.

You mean like how Trump got his start?

That's called Argumentum absurdum, its a fallacy where you draw things out to absurd conclusion.

"You need enough to live on?well why not a gajillion dollars"

no, we are asking for wages to keep up with the cost of living. Your ideas are absurd fallacies.

I hope when you finally do move out of mommy and daddy's house and have to work for a living, you ask your boss to pay you the least possible - to keep costs down, since you insisted everyone else live that way.

Dude, you're trolling or retarded.

There is no increased national wealth to backup an increase in the national minimum wage.

Increasing the minimum wage would only cause inflation.

Do not reply, f**ktard.

But according to you there is on account of Trump's magic wand?

Alright, there's a little extra wealth. Not enough to justify paying unskilled workers more. Let's pay some debt first and pay the skilled workers that contributed to the wealth increase first. Remember the time workers got bonuses and raises just because Trump was elected. 2020's coming.

Wha?

This is STILL the USA, free market, Capitalist.
You're confusing our economy with that of Communists. Debt is not paid off by economic activity here, since one is not a function of the other.

It only moves the line to make you think it works. Name one successful attempt at raising it to 15 bucks where it has increased their standards dramatically. Just one. Oh too soon? If you research there has been failures already. But you would not welcome the facts I will surmise.

His concept also boosted the economy locally and federally, which as you well know, is 70% consumer driven as a result.

That's one guy doing it for his one company. His company produced a lot of wealth and was able to afford to pay its workers more.

It's different when the entire economy gets the wage increase without there being any wealth to back it up. All that does is make a $1 candy bar into a $2 candy bar.

Because your blatant ignorance of history means what again?
Ford Motors, Assembly line, wages, Google.

He's literally the reason there's a middle class.
Dwindling pay is the reason that went from 1 worker buying a nice brick house and supporting a family and putting money away for retirement and their college to 2 of them struggling to make ends meet and pay mortgage on an overpriced pile of particle board.

But hey, if when you maybe finally ever get a job, at least you'll be happy toiling for enough money to buy beer so you can whine about your misery on mommy's couch.
- Oh wait, you get rental vouchers over there? Never mind, a trailer all to yourself.

More like blantant ignorance if context. They did not have robots that could replace humans in those days, did they? Where is your history major now?

No shit, Sherlock.

Perhaps your lame inane bogus so-called 'refuttal' was best left up your ignorant ass.

Okay, "Everywhere its been tried" - people having enough money to live have better livlihoods.

Meanwhile, name one place where keeping them low didn't result in sweat shops?

You understand that while you debate that people should just live on less than the cost of living, you could be back on xbox or whatever it is you do when mommy is not home.
