Sometimes I think you might be /more likely/ to find a female judge who sides with the father than you are to find a male judge. Despite all the "patriarchy" nonsense, male judges are way more likely to err on the side of feminism, on the side of coddling women, their "protective instincts" kicking in and giving the woman any help they can, especially if she busts out "The Tears".
Female judges, on the other hand, can go one of two ways; either they're feminists and/or believe in the sisterhood, (in which case they'll side with the mother no matter what), or they're honest and know damned well what their own gender can be like, in which case they'll side with the father, or at the very least give him a fair and unbiased hearing.
