Sure, your chart makes it look like a lot, until you take sheer population into account. Number 1 on theat list, El Salvador, only has a population of just over 6 million. Venezuela, ~32 million. Guatemala, ~17 million.
The point is the /actual number/ of deaths by gun may look high, but if you look at /rate/ based on population, the US isn't anywhere near the top, especially when you separate out suicides.

If you sort the list there by rate, the US is way down at number 89
Hell, The US isn't even in the top 10 countries for MASS shootings, at least up to 2015. Liberal darling Norway is way ahead of the US in that regard, when it comes to per capita.

It only seems like the US has a higher rate, again, due to sheer population size.
