Muslims being more violent at this point in time is very different from a terrorist ideology. Lets get this straight. Many, many, Muslims are violent, and most of them support or refuse to condemn the violence. Islam is rooted at its Holy Quran and Hadiths. The Quran, unlike the Bible, is accepted as the direct word of God. The Hadiths are written by important Muslims, many who lived around Prophet Muhammad. The Quran, much like the Bible, is extremely self contradictory. Thus, much like the Bible, people can use texts and quotes to justify many purposes. The Quran shows Muhammad as being loving, kind and accepting as well as speaking of murdering the Jews. So, terrorists like ISIS can use specific points of the Quran to justify their action and recruit. I am not saying that those who believe in Sharia law, religious based law, should be the law of the world are extremists, considering that they make up most of Islam. Another issue is that unlike the Bible, the Quran also has rules for leading a people, leading many to believe that Islamic law should be in place as a requirement of Allah. However, we can look back and remember the times of the 900s, when Christians were the intolerant brutes, and Muslims were the ones who tolerated Jews and Islamic cities were the capital of the intellectual world, huge libraries with books from far and wide. Now, it has switched, the Muslims are poor and stupid, man centuries from enlightenment, while the Christians rule the world. Those who site the Quran as more violent than the Old Testament are wrong and cherry picking.

Okay, I have established how the books and teaching of Islam are no more violent than those of Christianity, rather it is what is being focused on and taught today. So, what do we do about it? Impose democracy on the Middle East? Spend trillions trying to take down terror groups?
No. I say we impose a soft warfare campaign and just stay out of it. Soft warfare in this case is when we spend our money trying to convince Muslims to focus on the peaceful teachings of the Quran. A line from the Quran says that the Quran is open for interpretation. We can stress that line to mean that Muslims are free to peacefully interpret to Quran. We can also just get out. It is a waste of money spent. Muslims aren't going to get more enlightenment through our money. They are not going to support democracy when they are forced to. ISIS and other groups aren't as big a threat to the U.S. as the media makes them.
3 ups, 6y
A lot of Muslims would harbor less sentiment to the U.S. if we didn't try to manage their countries.

Please consider this. I typed it all out, no copy pasting and spent the about 25 minutes on it.

Your background information is kind of incorrect, tbh. "Christians were the intolerant brutes" Christianity had just gone through several centuries of constant invasion by muslims in the 900s, not the other way around. The first crusade was called as a result of the Byzantine emperor asking the pope for help after losing a serious battle to a turkish invasion that left the empire's military too weak to defend their territory. Prior to the crusaders taking the "holy land", jews and christians were openly persecuted by the muslims in the region, forced to pay a special tax, wear badges declaring their faith (a la 1930-40s Germany) and live under threat of attacks on their temples. After the crusaders had arrived and established the crusader kingdoms, all 3 faiths were allowed to worship and travel freely - no tax, no identifiers of faith. Who were the brutes? Whatever the Qu'ran might say, the actual actions of its faithful have been violent historically- from the very beginning they gained their power through conquest and forced conversion. Christianity did NOT. It spread in regions already controlled by Rome through mostly peaceful means. The difference is like night and day. Muslims tolerated jews lmfao I can't believe the misinformation.

Also all those "libraries full of books" they had they took from the Romans, after destroying countless works.
5 ups, 6y,

So sorry, my dates were very off. Jews have been historically less persecuted under Muslim than Catholic rule from the 11th to 17th century. The Ottoman Empire was super tolerant for the time. The House of Wisdom in Baghdad was translated from Indian scholars and Greek, Roman, and Persian texts. They were the only people preserving knowledge instead of destroying it. At the Early stages of Islam, Mohmmad did not forcefully convert, instead using humiliating tax. Jews were no more persecuted under him than the Christians, who killed and drove them out in the inquisition. Christianity has a longer history of forced conversion.

Super tolerant for the time? jesus

"One of the most notorious features of early Ottoman rule was the devsirme (“collection”), a tribute of young boys from the empire’s Christian subjects. Most of the boys were enrolled in the Janissary Corps, the army of slave-soldiers who were at the forefront of the Ottoman conquests. The tribute was carried out irregularly whenever the empire felt it might need the manpower and usually targeted boys aged 12–14 from Greece and the Balkans." yeah they were the greatest to those that didn't follow their religion. I can't imagine why you're actually trying to defend such a despicable regime. They were NOT tolerant, they were NOT peaceful, and they were NOT "preservers of knowledge".. they gained what knowledge they had through pillage and conquest of christian and other cultures(mainly roman) and were responsible for countless lost works during their attacks on both Alexandria and Constantinople.
Islam's outright oppression of infidels goes back just as far as christian, and your bringing up the "inquisition" just shows how far of a stretch it is to make the comparison. The inquisition was formed nearly 400 years after the islamic conquests began

The Ottoman Empire was a haven for Jews, especially Iberian Jews. The Ottomans were overall more tolerant than other religions of the time. The religious minority were second class citizens everywhere during that time. The Ottomans were especially lenient, much more than others of the time. You had religious freedom. There are some cases of abuse, but not systematically getting rid of them like in Spain.

"The Quran, unlike the Bible, is accepted as the direct word of God."

Yeah, you're not muslim.
The Koran is not accepted as the direct word of God because it was written by 4 guys as told by Mohammed since he couldn't write himself.
The Torah, being the book of God's Chosen, would be the closest to His word if He did exist, because that is how He presented himself to the people He chose.

Mohammed almost converted to Chrisitainity, but saw it had corrupted the word of the Lord beyond recognition. He considered Judaism, but hard to get people to follow a God who allowed His people to get scattered throughout the lands by their enemies rather than protect them.
So he rewrote it. Hence the similarity to the Bible. Same rules. Difference is, the Bible is a bunch of stories spanning centuries, the koran is one long lecture of rules by Mohammed.

The Ottoman Empire was the the only Islamic nation? They're proof of how open Moslems were to religious minorities? Tell that to the Armenians. Why did the majority of former Eastern Rome convert?
Talk about historic Islamic tolerance to Hindus and Buddhists in India. Tell that to Iranians, the first victims of Islam. 40,000 barbarian Arabs on horseback conquered the only nation Rome never could. Its main religion, Zoroastrianism (without which there would be no Abrahamic Religions and which offered the template for Jesus in Mithra, whose cult was popular in Rome 2000 years ago), currently has no more than 150,000 adherents, most of those are Parsis that had escaped to India from persecution by your gentle Muslims.
Ever notice how throughout Africa and Asia Muslims are in ports of call or trade routes? Arab traders would kidnap people for slavery in those places. But they can't do that to Muslims, so people converted to protect themselves. Nice.
There's a reason why Islam central, Saudi Arabia, has no other religions.

As for the tired, "But Christianity and Judaism used to...," correct, Christians and Jews USED TO. They don't anymore. They evolved. It is currently 2018 on Planet Earth, no excuses. We gave you television, radio, schools, cars, airplanes, cell phones, Facebook and Rock. Every other religion, culture, ethnicity, country, etc, on Earth brought into the modern civilized world with these delightful toys acts like a modern civilized person, no exceptions - except one. No excuses, time to grow the hell up and stop killing everyone else because Muslims are still proto-medievel barbarians.

Flags are exactly that, flags. As in flagging comments to be reviewed by the MODs for possible TOS violations. They are simply reporting, and affect no timers, which for you like anyone else except the OP here is 180 seconds.

[deleted]

The exact details aren't known to the public but he was involved. It was probably his puppet masters that came up with the plan, the same people that control Obama and Hillary. It's easier to understand the plan than the roles the individuals played.

Bush was in charge during the first major step. He oversaw the weakening of the economy, the entrance into our massive debt, the creation of the police state (patriot act), and the training of enemy combatants (the US trained ISIS and many other "terrorist" groups). 9/11 was a way to manipulate the US citizens into excepting all the terrible mismanagement of our freedoms. For example, the patriot act had 90% support, we allowed bush to kill Sadam, nobody argued that Bush brought the US debt to an unpayable amount.

This was all phase 1. Phase two was Obama who had the orders to weaken our country and strengthen our enemies. He defunded NASA which may have ended up being militarized in the near future (think space force), he defunded the military, he allowed ISIS to grow and become battle hardened, he further increased the debt, he gave Iran access to nuclear weapons.

Along with Hillary and McCain, he set into motion the conspiracy to frame Russia so ww3 could start. Hillary signed off on the Uranium One sale to the Russians, McCain smuggled Uranium One uranium into Syria where Iran was leasing a secret nuclear weapons facility, and Obama released the frozen funds so that Iran could pay for all that stuff.

When Hillary got elected she was going to expose Iran in 2019. The Uranium would be found to belong to the Russians and we would start ww3, the first nuclear war.

They all worked for what is being called the deep state to destroy America as we know it and make us subservient to the deep state the way the EU is. The head hancho now is the Rothschilds family. The Saudi Royal family was also high up in the deep state pecking order but they were taken down on Nov 7 2017.

Is there proof or just motivation and very weak circumstantial evidence?

There's proof of phase 2. Here's a comment I left for an insulting person. It has all the right stuff. I'll even post the picture:

It's not a secret visit, it's a surprise visit! (Because the dumbass got caught thanks to subhumans with cell phones).

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.haaretz.com/amp/israel-news/secret-underground-nuclear-facility-in-syria-baffles-experts-1.5936846

Hmm... what's that doing there. Where were they getting the uranium to enrich? That stuff is hard to come by. Maybe that explains the 'surprise' visit 2 years earlier...

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Shayrat_missile_strike

He did it because of.... 'chemical' weapons. I wonder if a stray missile or 5 accidentally landed on that secret nuclear facility....

What do you think happens to Traitors that get caught? Trump doesn't like people that get caught (doing evil things). Refer to the picture I posted. You're probably smart enough to figure out Military time, right?"

Again I left this comment for a very rude person. Any animosity you sense is not directed at you.

The dates and times I've underlined are:
4:28pm 7-25-18
4:28pm 8-25-18

There's lots of speculations about 9/11 but I think you're more interested in proofs than evidence.
