So, terrorists like ISIS can use specific points of the Quran to justify their action and recruit. I am not saying that those who believe in Sharia law, religious based law, should be the law of the world are extremists, considering that they make up most of Islam. Another issue is that unlike the Bible, the Quran also has rules for leading a people, leading many to believe that Islamic law should be in place as a requirement of Allah. However, we can look back and remember the times of the 900s, when Christians were the intolerant brutes, and Muslims were the ones who tolerated Jews and Islamic cities were the capital of the intellectual world, huge libraries with books from far and wide. Now, it has switched, the Muslims are poor and stupid, man centuries from enlightenment, while the Christians rule the world. Those who site the Quran as more violent than the Old Testament are wrong and cherry picking.
