Yeah, that was my thought exactly. I know he's named CNN, wasn't sure of MSNBC.

At one time or another, he's called out every major news outlet as fake news. At his rallies, he literally points to the entire press box when he uses the term.

He loves ragging on CNN especially, but he also calls out MSNBC frequently. He's super presidential and 100% mature.

If you check the timeline, 'fake news' was a Trump staple line long before he started labeling distinct news outlets as being purveyors of the genre. The louder each news org got, the more he singled them out by name- so essentially, they outed themselves.

You say "they outed themselves." They weren't exactly hiding; it's just that Trump is a child and can't handle criticism. So when his stupidity didn't just blow over (like it would if he wan't the president), he upped the ante and made specific enemies.

I genuinely can't tell if he's an immature, selfish, moronic megalomaniac, or if he's just trolling the entire world.

ah.. Lanny Davis was actually the CNN source I was thinking of. He was representing Michael Cohen (Trump's ex-lawyer).. and told CNN a bunch of stuff.. denied being the source.. then later confirmed being the source.. then retracted his own statements.. Trump of course pointed the "fake news" finger.. CNN didn't want to retract the story.. and Rudy Guiliani ended up praising Lanny Davis (the source of CNN's fake news) for his integrity.
