As far as I know, Trump is restricting every type of legal immigration... family and employment-based immigration, refugees, H-1B visas, and naturalization for immigrants serving in the U.S. military.

I'll have to look that up. The only one that bothers me is the last one. If they can serve us they can be one of us.

I did a little look into your claim. Not a big one, I'll admit.

Legal immigration down 12%. The majority of that number is due to the 81% decrease of legal immigration from the "Muslim ban" countries.

In other words, legal immigration is essentially the same for all countries except those specifically targeted by Trump.

In other words, fake news.

Believe it or not, a lot of us want less immigration. At least until the US can clean up its act and stabilize a bit. Trump ought to do more about limiting immigration but isn't because of the backlash he'd get from snowflakes that want to save the world by cramming 10 billion people into our welfare system.

I think you are confused. My claim is about him fighting/restricting legal immigration, aka his ACTIONS... not the RESULTS thus far. If you have restricted breathing, it might take a while to die if you die at all... Give his actions a chance to work. Limiting legal immigration aka "legal immigration reform" was one of his campaign promises. Facts.
