Finding out how repubs actually suppress the vote is easy... Making you care is the hard part.

In addition to ever increasing onerous requirements, there's good old Gerrymandering, without which Republicans would lose most elections and would effectively be well on their way to extinction as party.

Despite their current enthusiasm, I don't think gerrymandering and vote suppression will be enough to save them in the long run.. but I guess we'll see.

2016 comes to mind.

Plus even if those weren't enough to stop the Democrats from taking both Houses, bear in mind they have a history of 'compromising' in exchange for vague promises Republicans never keep. Bill Clinton's constant caving in, Schumer who mystifyingly gave up after having Congress by the onions over the Gov't shutdown & DACA early this year, and just last week, quietly confirming 51 Trump nominations for Federal Judges in exchange for getting out of work now so they can campaign more, as if the Republicans won't use the time for that also - that and more shows what they really do when they have the upper hand.
Democrats and Republicans differ only in being two corporations producing the same product with slight defferences, and their customers are not the people.

If that slight difference is taxing the rich and giving to the poor vs giving the rich more $$ and screwing the poor, that is enough difference for me.

Yet that is something else Dems tend to go along with.
Remember, they're rich blokes also and share most of the same lobbyists.

They might share wall street lobbyists but idk what else.. (?)
If you don't believe there is much difference as far as taxes, then how about: abortion, same-sex marriage, climate change, immigration, healthcare, and voting rights?

The usual lip service, for the most part.

Abortion: Maybe Kavana - naah, he's not going to do anything either.
True, in recent years a few States have been trying to make access a tad more difficult, but that's after tiring of waiting for Washington to do something one day never.

Same-sex marriage: Democrats were also against it till it started becoming legal in some States spurred by grass roots movements.

Climate change: Real action is going to take place shortly after real Global Warming takes place. Maybe.
In the meantime it's a game of hot potato with who's the bigger fool while no one does anything.

Immigration: It's been a tradition going back a century to scapegoat Mexicans during economic downturns. Limits are placed, and limits are lifted once the economy requires then again.
Reagan granted 3 million illegals amnesty, GW Bush wanted to do way more.
Trump has a rabid racist base to answer to, so he'll make some token gestures while immigrants still arrive in the millions. Overlall, nothing much will change.

Healthcare: Fastest growing sector of the economy and will continue to do so.
Trump was supposed to repeal and replace Obamacare. Part was gutted, when things get messier steps will be taken to modify.
Republicans do like to officially complain since naturally it only benefits the 'them people.' Now they're talking cutbacks for the sake of offsetting the tax cuts and patching the the ballooning deficit. Should the Dems take the Houses in November? That and the rest of Trump's mess will be blamed on them, and 2020 we go Repub again.

Voting rights? Matter of perspective. Republicans depend on limiting that in order to get elected. But their claim is that they're protecting them from abuse.

What they say and what they do are two different things. Image is one thing, reality, however, begs to differ.

Some of them make the Nazca Lines spiders look proportionally obese in comparison.

You forgot
1. Constricting early voting.
2. Reducing the number of voting locations.
3. Purging lists.
4. "Exact Match" tests.
5. putting the onus on people to affirm their wish to be registered is vastly inadequate when public officials provide incomplete or confusing information regarding who is even eligible and intimidate people with burdensome requirements that make people think that registering to vote might have dire legal consequences.
6. Felonies.
7. A complex muddle of rules surrounds both voter registration and felony re-enfranchisement, which enables public officials to be selective about when to educate citizens about their rights, and when to prosecute and imprison (or refuse to register) some of the individuals — predominantly African Americans — who get the opaque information wrong.
