Set the homepage to view all memes!

I didn’t realize that not all your stuff would show up on your profile which kinda stinks. I like to check everyone’s stuff out when I can. I’m sure they are just trying to see if this will make people happy. Theyll probably try several different tactics.

It needs to be filters not categories. I'm tired of gaming memes, but I can easily scroll past them. Maybe they can put categories in just the latest page. Let everything go on the front page.

Yeah I’m not sure what a good answer would be. I’m guessing several different things will be tried. But I’m sure I will miss many peoples memes so if anyone wants to spam links to me. I don’t mind, just putting that out there

I never realized posting links to others pages for their enjoyment was spam. I see others doing it all the time. I have been here a while now. I guess I missed that part. So, if you have a meme that's the perfect comment, it's not considered appropriate to post it?

Some people think it is, I don’t but alot people do I guess unless you “know” them. That’s why I want to make sure, if anyone wants to send me theirs, please do.

I don't like to spam others unless it's important. Myself, I feel like I'm begging for upvotes if I do that. I know you wouldn't mind me doing it, you are cool like that. :)

I asked a Mod for an "all" option, didn't get a response. My plan is to keep them busy with flagging meme that are in the wrong section. If everyone does it, it might show the mess they created. Myself, I'm for it being a filter, not separated categories.

im not a fan of the political memes and im very happy they're elsewhere. im hoping theyll set it were we can select what streams we wanna see like the meme/gif/nsfw options. for now i'll stick to the fun section and maybe visit the cat and reaction streams.

Each user could customize their own based on preferences, and it would all show up in one stream (if I'm understanding you right).

that's what I thought about.
If they want to stick with streams as I understand they must try to make them more generalized (e.g. 'cute memes' instead of 'cat memes','dog memes','hamster memes'... or 'social issues/politics' instead of extra streams for gender issues or whatever.
If they over-categorize they will eventually wind up with dozens of streams.

Nope I did some for repost today and they featured, only the fun ones show up unless it’s different on computer, I use iPhone. I did 2 repost today in repost section and even I can’t see them unless I go through all my images, they aren’t under my submitted image main profile page thingie.

it works the same on my android. When I click on MY submitted images it shows all of them and what category too. When I click on your username this image shows. You then have to click on that "show all" link. Then you should be able to see all your subs in each category and sort those either "hot" or "latest"

I'm kind of curious to see what the changes do, and how it affects the site, and I think there are probably pros and cons...

but at the end of the day, I think it's better not to separate the memes. I like seeing the best of all types together. :-)

I knew a socrates once. Different website but it had a leadership board. He was British, I think. I had two heads at the time. But he was a wonderful chap.

Yeah I have mixed feelings. I'm glad to not have to deal with so much ad nauseam political stuff, and having it separate will help the fun stuff get more views etc. But having so many streams will cause other stuff to go unnoticed I think.

Perhaps the mods/owners want to parse out specific genres of memes to allow the general "fun" memes to be seen through the masses of "other" memes that seem to have taken over a "general" stream of ALL memes. (I have no idea if it's true...just a thought)

You can view all memes via the main imgflip.com site. The default view is "fun."
Perhaps the mods/owners can make default view "choosable" in a way that it would pop up as per YOUR defined choice via a cookie. Would that help you?

Liberal memes get downvotes into submission because conservatives on here down vote them. The sheer number of conservatives make any other points of view impossible to post. So, the changes allow the conservatives to have their unadulterated political meme stream and the liberals don’t have to see them by default.

I have not idea what mod I am quoting or how; but downvoting from the conservatives happens all the time to my political memes to the point by they got back to submission status. I don’t whine about it.

The only people that see political memes are people that go to the political stream. It's quite obvious that the 40 or so of us are predominantly conservative if you've clicked on the political stream.

It's shameful because censorship is shameful. This site should promote free speech, not stifle it. Conservatives on this site have addressed the lefts hypocrisy and anticonstitutionalism many times. This censorship proves us right.

The default should be to view all memes and users should be able to customize their experience without the site administration doing it for them.
