Yes, subtle social commentary often eludes people. I didn't expect everyone to get it. The dependence on a single piece of technology is disturbing, especially when one has no idea who is controlling it.

This stuff gets old real quick. Like, look, we get it, we millennial are messed up. If you want to go back to caveman times, go back. Just shut up and let us change the way we want to.

The message had nothing to do with generational issues, but thank you for the ageist criticism.
0 ups, 6y
lol i guess it is technically generational issues, and it is ageist, because only 2 generations have the problem you're talking about. people under the age of 45, which is 2 generations soooooooo...

You get it. I was sitting in the KFC with my dad today after having done a biking route. It was good weather, we looked outside at all the people and my dad said like "It's beautiful weather and everyone's going to town instead of the forest" to which I responded "those are people these days. To disconnected from nature"

Society is fake news. Wilderness is the natural state of the world. A complicated society like the one from today with buildings, companies, money and politicians etc shouldn’t even exist.

Because I simply say the truth which is what we want to see and that's why you get happy. I speak true words or I remain silent and i defend the truth from those who do not honor it.

Nope, because society these days has only ever weakened mankind. There’s an enormous lack of intellectual challenges and harsh conditions to kill off unfit humans. For example we no longer have to kill our own meat, other people do that for us. Another that it’s to easy to make a fire while in the olden days that was a skill you had to learn. In those days humans simply lived as they originally should: without civilization. There was no money. There were no politicians, no rules and no borders. We lived as hunters and gatherers, and we were free. Yes, at times life was hard. Death could come swiftly. But no matter what kind of misfortune life threw in our faces, we were free. These days our lives are in a way being controlled by the way society’s constructed. And we don’t notice this because it happens very slowly. A friend of mine once said that technically the government owns you. And we all have to follow the rules created by a bunch of people most of us never even met. They are in my view enemies of all mankind who want to take away our confidence and make our skills less valuable. If you define yourself by your power to impose rules on others, a desire to dominate and posses, then you have nothing. Weak fools like those would normally hav been wiped out by nature but but medicine, welfare, and other tools of society allow them to live. But we are many and they are few and they can’t control us all. I know we all need money but at the end of the day you are meant to be free, and any other state of mind will take away who you really are. The government doesn’t own you and don’t believe any different.

Sooo... you don’t like the advances we have made to make life easier. I’m gonna be honest, YES, I do agree with the government part and how you follow rules made by people you don’t know, BUT people have made new things to improve life. Because just existing to survive is pretty pointless. Which, is how other animals live, and that sucks. Some get good lives, my dog is laying on me right now, but what people wanted to do was make things easier for everyone. I feel like you’re saying things get handed to us, and until people are legally old enough to get a good paying job, yes, things are handed to them. Otherwise, you have to work for other people to afford what others do for you. We work for each other, just in less of a life-or-death situation. Yes there are problems with humanity, and they can be fixed.... maybe...

People like Trump get things handed to them. The rest of us monkeys just run around like rats on a hamster wheel trying to get by. We think we're happy because we have stuff like cars, TV, etc. But if that were true we wouldn't need to go to places like Tahiti for vacation. This society was created by western man and forced upon the rest of us. Many civilizations did just fine without wearing clothes and behaving the way Europeans thought they should.

People like Trump will never see the light. He's been brought up to see people like him as being above the average joe he claims to care about because he has money (on paper). The truth is his ilk would exterminate all of the middle and lower classes if they could get away with it and wouldn't lose a minute of sleep.

*takes breath*
ok yes that makes sense. what im saying is people are happy that they have tv, cars, planes, etc. they go on vacation is because they want to take a break from it, sometimes. They also feel inclined to do it, because of what and how the media has told them to live their lives. so I guess that im kind f against the meme, due to how vague it is, but if maybe the meme was somehow more specific (but it's a meme, so that's hard) id agree with it.

Boomer. Lol! I'm not that old. But hey, if being an independent-minded, critical thinker is going to earn me that label by a member of a younger, docile, domesticated generation. Thank you! I guess that means I'm demonstrating an intelligence beyond my years.

So, we're supposed to blindly believe the messages the rich, faceless social-political-media powers (of both major political stripes) that are condescendingly treating us like domesticated pets? And I'm the boomer? Really? Thank you for demonstrating my point.

I have to make an effort to get out in nature at times. I despise ticks! But then, there are bloodsuckers here too. XD

Why do you tell people how to run their lives? You ARE, even though THEY have the CHOICE to live how they choose. I dunno about other people, but I go online to talk to people who I actually like, as phones and the internet were created to bring people together.
