We were talking about Jarts yesterday with a younger coworker. He looked up a set, it was like a 100 bucks.

I remember a recent story where a mother got arrested for letting her kids play at the park....across the street.

We were afraid of what our parents would do if we broke the rules. Now it's illegal to spank children with anything but a hand. Don't get me wrong on that one. I hated spankings so I'm glad that's gone. Discipline and spanking are two different things.

We didn't even get the look. We had to tattle on ourselves before someone else did or it was waaay worse. If you knew you did something wrong and didn't tell and your brother told...oy! And he ALWAYS told. I remember one kid that tried it. We never saw him again! Lol.
