Make no mistake, there were rallies from sea to shining sea. People showed up across the country in cities across most states. The rallies were smaller than anticipated, though.

I did, my comment was about why I don't use comparisons, it gives people a chance to cherry pick responses. I drove all night to get home and was to tried to explain. When I was stationed in Florida one of my friends on the force told me he was approached by people bused to the RNC to protest, they needed directions on how to aviod heavy traffic so they had time to switch shirts and signs for different areas.

They don't care, they just want to party and get paid.

I was lucky (or unlucky) enough to be in New Orleans for Decadence a week ago. There were a bunch of white men with premade fancy signs telling all the homos they were going to hell. Very unchristian stuff. Lots of FU's. I'd bet my ass they were pitching and catching come sun down.

Lol. It was Labor Day weekend and my gf wanted to go on vacation to a city we've never been to. It was the closest big city from my corner of Texas and there was a festival that was going to be happening. Turned out it was a gay pride festival... I still had a lot of fun. Apparently I'm attractive to gay men. I even got offered money for sex ><.

I always thought gay men looked like the people on TV. Turns out hairy, bearded, overweight white men are the mode. Those anti gay protesters would have fit right in, especially if they slipped out of their leather vests and into leather g strings. I'd bet money they were making a few extra bucks during the day so they could party at night. Heck, strategically they would have been able to preach to their audience more effectively at night. I lived in a ghetto neighborhood for awhile, seen much of the lithe ultra fancy stylin variety there, but also have seen all types. Never seen a parade tho. Never went to any parade of any sort either, so...

I have never seen a gay person discriminated against for being gay in my life. Worst I've seen is straight men keeping their distance from gay men cuz they're afraid to catch gay cooties. Never ever even heard of lesbian discrimination. I've got gay people in my family, one of my college roommates was gay, there used to be a gay nightclub in my town. Never seen gay oppression.

I was a democrat for years, both parties sent me into conflict zones and men in suits told me that killing people that didn't look like us, talk like us or dress like us was a great idea. Over the years I figured out that no one holding office in either party cared about me or anyone that I cared about. Since then I ignore what that say and watch what they do, then I can usually figure out what they do care about. Trump might not be polished, professional or the perfect person for the job but I have not seen him do a thing that would have me question his loyalty to the American people no mater what they look like, dress like or speak at home. I see a bunch of sheep make claims but so far no proof.

It's like Nazi Germany the day after. Not a single Nazi was found, to this very day. None.
