Paid protesters? How about a look into the rabbit hole? Remember November 4th 2017?:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/world/2017/nov/01/far-right-conspiracy-theory-us-civil-war
"But antifa groups have no plans to protest that day, and the small leftist groups who are planning protests have only dubious connections to the antifa movement. So what gives?" -statement made a few days before 11-4-17. No plans to protest, o rly?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newsweek.com/antifa-civil-war-november-4-really-just-few-protests-against-trump-702150%3famp=1
Make no mistake, there were rallies from sea to shining sea. People showed up across the country in cities across most states. The rallies were smaller than anticipated, though.

Why did they happen?
Why were they smaller than anticipated?
Refer to the picture above.
It was known at the time that Hillary was going to be arrested. The date was set... It didn't happen. The rallies were no longer necessary.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2017/11/04/world/middleeast/saudi-arabia-waleed-bin-talal.amp.html
Meanwhile on the other side of the world...

Disinformation is a weapon. SA was first. US is now. Europe/Asia to come. The world is being reclaimed one swamp at a time. Keep your eyes open this November.

Apple vs oranges comparisons are never valid and I don't bother with them. When the Republicans start riots, attack police, spread hate through the media, enlist illegals to vote and demand illegals be treated better than citizens, then we can do some real comparisons.
reply

I don't think you grasped what I was implying.

I did, my comment was about why I don't use comparisons, it gives people a chance to cherry pick responses. I drove all night to get home and was to tried to explain. When I was stationed in Florida one of my friends on the force told me he was approached by people bused to the RNC to protest, they needed directions on how to aviod heavy traffic so they had time to switch shirts and signs for different areas.

That sounds hard to believe. He spoke to people who basically admitted to being fake protesters? Why would they do that?
reply

They don't care, they just want to party and get paid.

I was lucky (or unlucky) enough to be in New Orleans for Decadence a week ago. There were a bunch of white men with premade fancy signs telling all the homos they were going to hell. Very unchristian stuff. Lots of FU's. I'd bet my ass they were pitching and catching come sun down.

They were just there to smear the right and Christians. It's how the game is played. Crowdsondemand.com Something for any budget!

You speak of people with that orientation in a derisive manner, yet claim others there with your attitude were faking their protest?

And of course, you just so happened to be there. Swept up by the crowd on the way home with groceries?

Lol. It was Labor Day weekend and my gf wanted to go on vacation to a city we've never been to. It was the closest big city from my corner of Texas and there was a festival that was going to be happening. Turned out it was a gay pride festival... I still had a lot of fun. Apparently I'm attractive to gay men. I even got offered money for sex ><.

I always thought gay men looked like the people on TV. Turns out hairy, bearded, overweight white men are the mode. Those anti gay protesters would have fit right in, especially if they slipped out of their leather vests and into leather g strings. I'd bet money they were making a few extra bucks during the day so they could party at night. Heck, strategically they would have been able to preach to their audience more effectively at night. Oddly enough they weren't anywhere to be found during gay prime time. Or were they...
reply

Damn, I hate when that happens, gf drags me to a gay parade where I get propositioned...

But seriously, you have no way of knowing, nor do I.
We all discussed this once before a bit.

I lived in a ghetto neighborhood for awhile, seen much of the lithe ultra fancy stylin variety there, but also have seen all types. Never seen a parade tho. Never went to any parade of any sort either, so...

To me, they suffer enough as is. I have no need to add to it.

I have never seen a gay person discriminated against for being gay in my life. Worst I've seen is straight men keeping their distance from gay men cuz they're afraid to catch gay cooties. Never ever even heard of lesbian discrimination. I've got gay people in my family, one of my college roommates was gay, there used to be a gay nightclub in my town. Never seen gay oppression.

I think the discrimination is made up. Gay bashing doesn't exist anymore. Hasnt since the new millennium.

If you think gay people aren't discriminated against, I don't what to tell you, except please come back to reality. And as far as never hearing about lesbian discrimination, Eric Robert Rudolph set off a bomb at a lesbian nightclub. Does that count as lesbian discrimination?
0 ups
I could make a joke about all the business that guy is going to lose over his statement, but I won't.

I hadn't heard of that bomber. Tragic. The 90's were the gay revolution imo. There will always be a few nuts willing to do the unthinkable. The gays had to fight for it but they're basically accepted into society now.

Like I said, I've heard of discrimination and gay bashing, but never actually seen it despite being exposed to homosexuals my entire life.

How was the turnout at this year's anniversary reunion Tiki March II?

You sure got the numbers, paltry as they are.
reply

Actually I don't have the numbers. I am a vote them all out limited government type, not many of us. I have the idea of a so called servant living office after 40 years with hundreds of millions in the bank that we know of and no telling how much more in a secret stash.
reply

Koch Bros aren't funding the fake Tea Party that they created anymore, so it's forgotten.

And Tiki March II's numbers were really low. The sponsors having gotten sued so badly, not much left to hire those sharp looking gents (ever wonder why no typical neo nazi types in the first one? No skins, rednecks, slovenly bearded flannel wearing squirrel hunters? Central casting was short on those that day).

I can't make out the rest of what you said.

I was a democrat for years, both parties sent me into conflict zones and men in suits told me that killing people that didn't look like us, talk like us or dress like us was a great idea. Over the years I figured out that no one holding office in either party cared about me or anyone that I cared about. Since then I ignore what that say and watch what they do, then I can usually figure out what they do care about. Trump might not be polished, professional or the perfect person for the job but I have not seen him do a thing that would have me question his loyalty to the American people no mater what they look like, dress like or speak at home. I see a bunch of sheep make claims but so far no proof.

It's like Nazi Germany the day after. Not a single Nazi was found, to this very day. None.

Apparently every single Trump bot here was a Democrat that voted Obama. I seem to be the only one here that ever voted Republican prior to 2016.
Amazing, isn't it?
reply

The last time I voted for a democrat was Jimmy Carter but nice try. The Clinton's have always been well dressed trailer trash and I never even considered Obama, he didn't have the skills needed. I did vote for Trump, he was my last choice on the republican side and I was really voting against Hillary. Seeing what the Dems have left I will vote for him again. Crazy world we live in.

The only thing crazy about this world is the fact that people create shit in their minds that don't exist. Life in America has been the same for at least 50 years. Carter through Reagan, Bushes, Clintons, Obamas, Trump nothing has happened and nothing has changed. If you vote, you are a goat. If you deal in politics you are a trained monkey. Simple. But the world needs trained monkeys and goats, and that is where y'all come in...

If his side wins big in the mid terms and no charges are dropped on Hilldabeast, in my mind that would prove friendship between them.

I wish. I see groups like isis and antifa as both needing salesmen. I don't want the job but neither group understands my culture. They see every white that protects southern culture as racists and think we are all uneducated trailer trash. We see them as terrorists, both groups spread hate and attack people that don't think like them. All of us misunderstand the other, a salesman could make peace that no one else will every be able to do. Someone that can learn enough to find common ground. Ok, you have the plan, now send me money.

When I was younger I went to church. The christians there described a person who would come and find common ground and make peace that no one else could make, they called him "anti-christ". But a real peace can be made in yourself by doing just what you said another person should do, find common ground, respect differences and understand within yourself. You don't need Trump for that.

That is your issue, I could careless about last year, eight years or a hundred years ago. I care about now, today and tomorrow. You will never convince me that America will fall because people want to be slaves working for an all powerful master that gives them just enough to keep them in line. I see two main parties playing a single game and the people as their trophy. If you think anything will change because the democrats and republicans change places you haven't watched either of them close enough.

I am making my second reply, my first sounded harsher than it should but hay that was pre coffee so I can't be held accountable. I suspect if we sat down we would have some common ground. I am not pro Trump or Republican I voted against Hillary, currently the Democrats propaganda that they both turned our economy around and turned the nation towards socialism is impossible. That party has been nothing but scandal after scandal since I was a little boy, the worst of the Republican's look great when you use apple vs oranges comparison's (I don't). My point is, I am not asking anyone to change or change me. I see what I see, comment on it and it tends to tick people off. I am ok with that.

There were more than 2 candidates. That irksome duo was not the only option. A vote for another would have been not just against them, but against the two headed monopoly con their machine has choked politics with.

laonsite has posted lists of GOP scandals, so I'm not bothering. Dems have them too, but nowhere near, and certainly nothing like what we're seeing now has ever been witnessed outside of the confines of a fleabag two-bit Third World despot. This is slightly past Gary Hart or Bill Clinton. Goodness, this guy pratically makes them look like eunuch monks, not that I liked either.

I make a comment, people assume my party affiliation (never had one, never will), who I voted for, my pick of the horseshoe wing I (don't even) lean on, and the rest of it. I like playing devil's advocate, I like getting people to play themselves thinking they're playing me. Arguments are never won by anyone ever (have you ever seen it anywhere in your life?), so I'm just having fun prodding people. It's super hilarious when I'm agreeing with someone and they just get even more ticked, because then their trigger sess would have to end and their elavated cortisol levels will be for naught. Then if it does sink in that I have a lot in common with them, they get miffed when I'm not mirroring them another day.

Humans think deliberately acting stupid is a sign of intelligence.
