It's sad, but quite a few are true.

You would think he may learn a lesson yet that civility isn't something he can demand of others, but not practice, himself. I was no John McCain fan, I'm not going to say all he did was moral or he was perfect. This is a perfect example of those who like to offend others, but feel a strong need to take the offense when they themselves feel offended on Trump's behalf.

People only complain about "politics" when they feel slighted. If you care enough about the man who died, you respect the family's wishes. It's their funeral.

I can't say for sure what CC was referring to but it could have something to do with Trump saying McCain wasn't a war hero because he got captured (pretty bold talk coming from a draft dodger).
Trump's communication aide Kelly Sadler didnt make anything any better.... joking that senator McCain didn't matter because "he's dying anyway"..and as far as I know she wasn't fired. Nobody from the white house ever even denouced her comments.

Yeah, but he said that before McCain died. CC is talking about /after/ he died. It was made clear Trump wasn't invited to McCain's funeral, and so he didn't attend. The speeches given by McCain's daughter and others, while not naming Trump directly, were /pointedly/ taking personal potshots at him. Like her comment "The America of John McCain has no need to be made great again because America was always great."

The only thing Trump did, later that night, was to tweet "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN", and otherwise remain silent about the whole matter. This apparently disappointed his allies that he didn't defend himself from the personal attacks.

Going by that alone it's evident he was the only one who chose to be the bigger person, adopting the "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" attitude, which is patently unusual for him.

I don't know exactly what she was talking about nor do I know what you're talking about.... if Trump not talking sh** about a man who just died is an accomplishment, we have reached a new low.

If you say you don't know exactly what she was talking about, you're just being blatantly dishonest. And the point is that he didn't make anything personal, unlike the lie that CCBit's meme at the start of this thread states.

You thought she was talking about something after he died, I assumed it was the "not a war hero thing" (obviously a personal jab) before he died, but you know what they say about assumptions, and I'm not CC.. but ok whatever I'm blatantly lying.
