It's a little late to be tearing them down. If it was going to happen it should have happened sometime in the past 150 years. Now they're just historical monuments. The only reason the liberals decided to destroy them was because they were pissy that Trump got elected.
Nobody actually cared about the statues or racism. It was done in bad taste. If they really cared then people would have gone to city hall and petitioned for their removal legally. Instead it was done because of outrage over an unrelated issue and done by people that didn't even live in those cities.

Perhaps my first sentence was wrong, but the rest still stands true. It was done as a revenge act by disgruntled liberals. If people really cared they could have been taken down legally, by a city vote.
