And @EinSaylors, yes, better to reduce cows to a nature-workable number than raise millions to live in cramped quarters and terror, because it is in fact literally environmentally unsustainable, even the grossly agro-welfare-subsidied beef industry knows this, but their plan is still to...ummm...milk it for all they can.

Just givin' you a hard time. I live in Oklahoma, I've seen the pollution n everything. I don't have a problem w/ eating meat, it's just the mass production that spoils it.

Totally get that. I typically butcher every Thanksgiving week. I don't mind the rest but I don't like shooting them. A couple of mean bulls have made it easy but I usually let somebody else do the shooting and then I take over.
