Except they made the effort to give it a new spin with a funny meme template. You just wrote dyslexia and published a mediocre meme. I can understand if there was an original idea involved but that's not the case. Im sure you'll get your share of upvotes maybe not from me but others who hopefully find your memes funny. Unfortunately, it happens all the time. A lot of the memes on the Hot page have very few views and few upvotes, but they stay there for days, so eventually the numbers increase.

In SOME cases the reason a repost gets a lot more views and votes is because the second person used a different template that makes it funnier. And in this particular case, I would say that adding FCUK definitely makes it funnier.

That's the reason, why else do 'memes' about nimrods coming back make the front page. "Oh wow, Bobby's back!' So the fu.ck what... make me laugh or F U lmao

It's true that being a well-known user gives an advantage (and sometimes a really big one), but it doesn't lock anyone else out from their meme succeeding - memes get on the front page by users who aren't well-known on a regular basis (including this one).

Honestly...It’s a mystery to me how some memes seem to go immediately to the hot pages and skip the recent pages. If there was money involved, I would care lol, but it’s just for fun...

100%. In fact, that's part of what meme-making is. But in this case, the meme wasn't even reposted. It's a different meme with the same joke (plus an added extra).
