When I stated that "Liberals are no longer acting very liberal," I simply meant that the U.S. Liberal party is not acting liberal, in the original meaning. Liberalism was an Enlightenment philosophy which held the rights of the individual over the rights of the state. It also held the idea that the government should be as small as possible and only interfere with the average person as little as possible. One other of it's ideas was the idea that all "Men" (This term now means all of Mankind, but when it was originally written in the Declaration of Independence it excluded women and American black slaves.) are created equal. So, you sir, are much, much smaller than just one percent of modern day liberals. Classical liberalism is more close to modern day American Conservatism. Good job!
