It's already been established that kids were put in detention centers because it's safer and helps them move through the system faster. It's a logistical thing.

You're working hard to demonize all the good work the government does for those kids. The vast majority of them are basically non citizen orphans. They left their parents behind to come here and the government provides for them.

In the detention centers that you so kindly refer to as concentration camps they receive food, clothing, and shelter. All things that they weren't guaranteed on a day to day basis during their travel to the border.

They also receive education, entertainment, legal representation, and the opportunity to enter the country legally. Some even go on to become citizens.

I'd like to see you call those places concentration camps to the social workers and volunteers that work there. They care about the wellbeing of those kids and work hard with what they have available to make those kids stay as comfortable as possible.

Don't forget about that part. Oh yeah, no parents, no love, no affection... Kids don't need that, right? Who raised you? Robots? But still: NO LAW.

The dems are getting desperate. They just wanted to make him look bad. This doesn't even push their agenda. They don't really care or Obama would have done something about it.

I'm happy that families are going to be kept together but this is going to have some negative side effects. I've already talked to an immigration attorney who said the family detention centers are usually out in the middle of nowhere and the illegal immigrants have trouble getting representation because the attorneys can't afford to waste time commuting out there when there are other cases they need to address closer to them.

This might end up being a curse in disguise. The families get to be together, but their chances of getting into the states just went down a lot. Perhaps family detention centers will start being built closer to cities. Time will tell.

Molestation is going to be ramped in these areas.
