As a kid I watched the first step on the moon live on television, thinking it was no big deal. I remember my dad saying to me "this doesn't happen every day you know" :)
Me too. I only remember being torn out of bed when the Apollo 11 Eagle was about to land - but I was too young and the pictures too shady for me to realize what was going on. But the latest missions I watched with much enthusiasm :)
