Lived mostly round Italians growing up, and a cpl of mixed neighborhoods before n after. So because of the way I talk and also my Mediterranean features, many think I'm Italian. Idiot that I am, I could have hooked up left n right with the Ricans if I played that up instead of being honest. Since I'm already harping on stereotypes... sad and sick but true, once I tell them, they ask,
"So how many shildrenss jzou hafe?"
"None," I tell them, "never been married"
"No, I no cayre abou daht, I jus wanna know how many shildrens jzou hafe"
And that's the end of that. When they think I'm white, it don't matter, but as a PR, if you have no kids, you ain't having no mama neither.
The educated ones I flat out tell me when they find out that they're "Oh, cuz Ih'm lookeeng fo a whihe guy"
