Lol. I had a friend we used to call “green man”. We called him that because he had these big dreads. One day, for some reason, I think he was getting tired of having them, he cut one open, and this green stuff came out! He cut them off pretty soon after. X D.

Actually you should wash your dreadlocks, that's a common misconception.

While they have been around as long as hair, the name dreadlocks was created by Rastafarians who view the hairstyle as an important part of their religion. It is from an archaic use of the word dread, which means to hold in awe or reverence.

Now I don't care who has them or why, only that to some it is part of their religion. So yeah, some people are going to act uptight about it it's the way of the world...

Well then, if I had my hair in that style, it's not my fault if they /assume/ I call them "dreadlocks".

I can't imagine any true Rastafarian not being so high they couldn't care less about the whole issue personally. I mean the main part of their religion is smoking herb near constantly. Well, they also worship an Ethiopian emperor that ethnically cleansed the Harari people from the region of the same name. It's truly an interesting story for a religion. Most people think it's just a religion that worships weed smoke and people tend to take it much too seriously without reading all the details.

My own personal belief on hairstyles is anybody can have any style they want, so long as they don't get the Kim Jong Un cut, that I won't tolerate hehehe!
