Drinking was just a way of life growing up in WI. I didn't learn that other states were different until I traveled and now live in Florida near the Alabama border. The county I live in now used to be dry not that long ago. Funny thing though, I don't drink much down here. I save it all up for when I go back to WI for the summer.

There's festivals going on somewhere at any given time during the summer. And then there's the ever popular tailgate parties. I remember driving by the Budweiser's Clidesdale (sp?) ranch before they moved them. Gorgeous horses. I don't drink much either. And for some reason I'm not a huge fan of the taste of beer.

I grew up in Richmond Virginia, It wasn't until the 70s until anything but food service could open on Sunday. There are still some counties I here that still don't sell alcohol on Sunday.

The "ain't no beer on Sunday" is too true, not to mention how quickly a guy's accent goes from southern to ye' old British as soon as he starts the Lord's Prayer....
