I do. And to be fair I don't bash other people's beliefs. I think Imgflip should get rid of Jesus memes. Just my opinion.

No, that's not what I meant. What I meant was if other religions were equally represented on this site with templates then you can be sure imgflip would hear about it if they were being used negatively. That being said, many of the templates that I see that bash Jesus are user uploaded. I don't go out if my way "policing" the latest for those memes. I'm just saying if I'm logged on and happen accross one that is in poor taste I will downvote it.

While bashing Christianity tends to be unfairly acceptable, there are plenty here to rail in defense - a vocal majority, in fact.

Other religions, not so defended. Witness the enclosed copy of a posted meme comment. Not to defend the heinous Taliban, but you can see how they are described in racist terms. This comment is some 2 weeks old, I think. Still here. No complaints.

While it fudges the line (who wants to defend them?), it is not unique. Ironically, there are Islamic apologists here who jump on Christianity's history in unflattering ways as a means to uphold the reputation of Islam. But insult THE people instead of their activities, no shoulders shrugged.

And yes, those Jesus templates being user uploaded and the First Amendment (an obscure little one before the sainted Second) being a thing, censorship of such is not going to happen.

Good points. I strongly support preserving the First Amendment. And there's peace of mind knowing there's always page 9 and beyond. Unless it's one of my memes. :)

Nothing. I just don't like seeing memes that are really negative about Him.

I think downvoting is okay in that scenario if the person wants to. How people vote on memes is up to them. But not flagging (unless it's actually something the mods need to deal with).

Although in some cases, if you put a really good rebuttal comment on a meme you disagree with, you might decide it's in your interest to upvote the meme, so more people see it, and see your rebuttal.

Downvoting to get on front page is wrong. I doubt it would work. Downvotung memes you dont want to see again is right. ie: non fun memes
