Yeah! You're right. I didn't read it as, "Look, him told you that the earth is flat..." or "Look, he told you that the earth is flat..." which is the easier way to find out which who/whom to use.

That was only one example, I've got plenty more. Besides what sphere has corners? Not only that, but lets assume for the sake of argument, why would an omnipotent and omniscient, and benevolent god allow for such wording, or misinterpretations of his "perfect word". I mean you only get one shot and since the penalty for getting it wrong is hell, I'd think it would be important that he isn't cryptic.

God will not send you to hell for getting or not getting the correct translation of a word. It does not change the message of the Gospel. Not everything in His word is literal. I don’t suppose you think that Jesus is literally a “door”?...

As I stated before there are multiple times where the bible tells people that the Earth is flat

Notice the word circle, not sphere, one is 2 dimensional and one is 3, a perfect god would not and should not make the error of comparing a sphere to a circle. Also god shouldn't be cryptic, ironic, etc. If the price of me being wrong is eternal damnation, you better have some DAMN good instructions.

According to Genesis, it's not so much a flat disk as it a bunch of continents in the middle of an infinite primordial ocean, floating atop the waters beneath them and with a dome shaped "firmament" to support the waters above them, almost like a giant underwater snow-globe.

The millionth ancient book that describes a magic man making a magic world with magic probably got it wrong. That or four corners was like contextually different from actual corners much like how the word "age" is used to describe time periods in the bible sometimes
