If it warms enough! The deeper ocean layers with their huge storage capacity are rather cold, so that would happen only at the surfcace.for a long time. Anyway, no matter how you look at it, it is out of question that humanity cannot go on to produce huge amounts CO2 any longer. if they don't want to get the planet completely out of balance. Yeah, sure. But the warming of the atsmosphere could abruptly stop and even be returned e.g. by the ourbrake of a big vulcano. It's much more difficult, to return the los of basicity ot the oceans. That' s why that is the much more dangerous consequence of too much CO2 in the atmosphere..
