Impeachment is in the House. This has happened twice in history, with Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton. Conviction is in the Senate, and it takes a 2/3 - not just simple majority - vote to do so. Neither of them were convicted. Even conviction doesn't necessarily mean removal from office. He could simply be, for example, censured (chewed out and told not to do it again). Again, it has never gone that far. Lastly, if a president is removed from office, the vice president becomes president, not his election opponent. This is the most ridiculous of all.

While not exactly a member of the Bill Clinton Fan Club, I rolled my eyes a little at the whole impeachment thing. Had he been convicted AND removed from office, we would have gotten Gore as president, which IMO would have been even worse. Similarly, those calling for Trump's impeachment should be careful what they wish for.

Based on what? Your "feelings"? It has to be, as you don't list a single concrete fact to support your assertion. You know, like what law Trump has broken. How that law rises to a high crime, or misdemeanor. Or how a Republican congress will ever pursue impeachment.

You know what, I could care a friggin less, I'm up north, and dont give two shits. The only matter that can make this worse is of Korea somehow manages to make a nuke, but that is well beyond their capacity to do.

However that is the goal of the entities who are saying that stuff, so they are actively trying to convince people.... A Ford car salesman will try to get you to believe that the new Chevy is junk, and will fail....

There's two sides to that, the Chevy dealer is telling the same story about the Ford. It is the responsability of the public to discern for themselves which side to believe. As far as Russia, I've never said either or, and until hard facts come in I reserve judgment. However in other aspects, I do believe he is an incompitant fool who is losing the faith of his own party, bullying people, senators and representatives, threats, hypocracy, the day to day shit. My own judgments from my own sources, not being CNN, MSNBC or the like. Canadian news tells us shit and lets us decide for ourselves how to take it, they just inform us, they dont pick sides.

Is it 'incompitant'? or incompetent (and is it hypocrisy, not 'hypocracy')?.... But I make spelling errors, so I understand that's not relevant.... The whole point of my meme is that you are getting that 'information' (as most all of us are) from the chain of sources that HAVE made it a point to show it all negative (I don't necessarily mean the final news outlet -- but they are in turn getting 'information' passed down to them).... Further, there have ALWAYS been many people 'from his own party' (he's really not an R, in my mind) who were 'never-Trumpers', want Trump to fail, and are aiding in that to happen (some of those people are being outwardly two-faced about it).... It all reminds me of the wise-ass prankster, who puts his leg out to trip you over -- and then ridicules you for not being able to walk without tripping over.... To be absolutely SURE, there ARE many people who are ACTIVELY working to make Trump fail, or at the very least make it appear that way, whether that is true or not... These people, predict or hope Trump will react in a certain way -- because they study the things that wil more easily expose him in the manner they want.... I was not big 'fan' at all, but GW Bush was portrayed as a buffoon by most of the same people who also accused Bush of masterminding 9-11 as a highly sophisticated hoax... It cannot be both ways; either Bush was stupid and 9-11 was real, or he was brilliant in being able to pull off the hoax of the century (yet, I know people who illogically think it can be both ways)..... Likewise, people are portraying Trump as arrogant, bullying, threatening, etc., AND then ironically try to claim that he's a 'puppet' to Putin... That doesn't make much sense either...
