Great point. Though I am "White" by definition I am not proud of it. It's just who I am, how I was born. I didn't choose to be white. My children are all "Natives" because the Tribes use the Mothers bloodline to determine who is "Native" My kids are all "Native Americans" by law but I am not. They are allowed so many benefits that I am not eligible for because I am "White" They belong to the Inupiaq tribe and are eligible for those benefits because of it. I am their biological father but I do not qualify for any of the things they qualify for because I am a man. Will someone please explain to me again about this "White privilege and the "Gender bias"

I agree. Everyone is proud of who they are and what they are and rightly so. So who's to say one is better than the other.

I'm sure she got spoken to about that. There's a huge rift between "white privilege" and "white guilt" in people's eyes and she probably embarrassed the hell out of her grandmother.

I worked with a black guy back in the 80's who once told me that he felt that he was at a disadvantage because of his color. Oh,by the way, what the meme is talking about really didn't happen. I just thought it would be funny. I hope I didn't make upset anyone.

That's defiantly not how it is now. Businesses get a tax credit for hiring black people. Furthermore, have you seen just how many scholarships there are for black people only? There are zero for just beyond white (or even Hispanic make like me, only for Hispanic women).

In the 80's I tried to get on the local Fire Department. I passed the physical (which was the hardest thing I've ever don't) and passed the written test with a 98 percentile. Still didn't make it. The veterans got preference (rightly so), then everyone who scored higher, then minorities no matter if they scored higher than me or not. The ratio was a minority for every white man.

Ditto...I applied for the DMV in Oregon many years ago. Drove all over the state for interviews. I scored higher then the ones that were hired. Out of the 5 hired, one was a Vet...extra points granted and like you I have NO problem with that, the other 4 vacancies were filled by minority women. Ummm tell me about racism and gender inequality again?

As long as the vet got hired its fine. I think that everyone should have an equal chance no matter their color though...

Exactly. When I was a kid I applied for a job as a waiter. They have me the bus boy position and said if I was the best, I would become a server. I trained this black kid to be a bus boy, next day they promoted him to a server. They fired him for stealing.

I have no problem with hiring the best qualified person after the veteran preferences. No matter the color or sex.

I don't think race baiting is funny. That being said there are loads upon loads of real issues, and even "the other side" can't even agree on the bullcrap they're spewing. I watch hours upon hours of their ranting, protesting, and interactions... and the only conclusion I've come up with is that they have absolutely no clue and no consistency with anything other than they don't represent the majority whatsoever and are making themselves look like absolute idiots.
