If I may, hopefully I can provide a little insight, and also reassurance, regarding that: speaking from personal experience, whenever one parent separates a child from the other parent, 99.9? of the time, it backfires on them. not only does the child resent the parent for the separation, the child often idolizes the one they don't see... in the long run, what usually happens is the children themselves alienate the parent who initially kept them from the other, and will form a bond with the one they didn't see growing up. This was the case for me, except it was my "father" keeping me away from my mom,
