But honestly that song was way over played in my area when it came out lol

A local radio station switched to a classic rock format, a few years back, and as a promotion they played only this one song for their first 24 hours. Awesome.

Only if you listened for the entire 24 hours, which I'm sure no one did. But, to this day, I can't hear this song, especially the first seven piano notes, without thinking of the publicity stunt.

I passed a guy in his 60s Sunday out working on the front of his house and he had Bob Segar cranked up! I laughed and sang along :)

I get the weirdest looks when i'm jamming to Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, etc. because i'm over 60 now... Old Rockers never die !

Just turned 62

I have a box of old 45's from my mom. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out I could find them on You Tube. Especially since a lot of them weren't top hits. I've also purchased some as digital downloads.

And a broken record player lol

If someone had a really good record collection, I mean, if they kept the records in good condition, then it would be worthwhile to get a new turntable. But I never took good care of my records, I was young and didn't care. I hear people say that the sound from records is better than digital sound. First time I heard "In The Air Tonight" by Phil Collins other than from a record album, I wondered what happened to the base.

Mine are good shape. I remember the first 2 records I bought. AC/DC For those about to rock and dirty deeds done dirt cheap. I still have them :)
