it was good up till the end, when curtis' bias showed up. he states that the UK went into Syria to get ISIS, which is only a half truth. UK govt. actually wanted to go into Syria to get Assad but public opinion made them do a turnaround, then a year later they decided they should go in afetr ISIS but anyone with a brain cell knew we only used that as an excuse to get into Syria.
"Suddenly the Russians intervened" there's no big conspiracy there! Russia is an ally to Syria and have a military base there, their help was requested by Assad, Putin obliged just like the US and UK would provide help to their allies...only difference being that Putin waited until he was invited ;-)
"Russia suddenly announced they were withdrawing...they're still there...still no-one knows what they really want" haha like it's some big conspiracy. Russia went in when damascus was threatened last year, most of their military left in March when their main objectives were achieved. there are still terrorists to be defeated so that's why they're still there. other than that, which i totally expected from adam curtis, it was a good doc
