Give it some time. Nine submissions is a little early yet. It took me months to get anything on the front page. Keep posting and keep meme commenting and reading comments. Both will help you improve your submissions. :) That's the best advice I can give a new user.
By touching on the primal need people have to absorb a representation of a perfect image married to a perfect representation of text matching their innermost needs of acceptance or feeling like a part of the greater group. That, or you just got lucky. :)
