And personally, I believe, based on a ridiculous amount of evidence, that BOTH are pathological lying narcissists. FWIW Stephen Colbert the man has made no secret of his progressive-leaning politics. Stephen Colbert the character is not a true conservative but rather a broad parody of neocon "journalists" like Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh, neither of whom intend to be funny yet have created some excellent comedy.
